Engineers Museum 20th Century Galleries
Andrew took a lead role
in the research, design and installation of the 20th
Century galleries at the 'Designated' Royal Engineers
Museum
This included managing a project team of 20 skilled
craftsmen and dealing with the conservation needs
of the collections on display

Architectural
Recording at Chatham Historic Dockyard
Andrew undertook the architectural
recording of the historic Mast House & Mould Loft
at Chatham Historic Dockyard. This involved recording
and photographing minute details of a building constructed
from broken-up 18th century warships

Steamer Online Interactive Galleries
Andrew has excellent design
skills and experience in creating online galleries of
museum collections. Andrew has produced online
galleries for major maritime collections as well as
social history museums in the south east. He is a specialist
in this field

of online galleries for a client to make collections
accessible in an attractive way and at a keen cost

Andrew has designed marketing
displays for such venues as the Lord Mayor of London's
residence at the Mansion House, National Maritime
Museum, Earls Court, Olympia, Excel, Alexandra Palace,
National Festival of the Sea and Glasgow Museums

& Ropery Galleries at Chatham Historic Dockyard
Andrew played a key role
in the creation of early galleries at Chatham Historic
Dockyard including the Ropery, Gannet and Colour Loft
galleries

Moving
the Warner Textile Archive
Andrew played a major role
in the planning, moving and storage of the Warner
Textile Collection of 90,000 fabrics and designs from
Milton Keynes to Essex in 2005

Design
Recent projects have included
posters to promote the Golden Jubilee of the PSPS
and the Heritagesteamers website
Andrew has also produced artwork for displays at the
Excel Centre, Earls Court, Olympia and the Mansion
House
Andrew was trained in art and design. He has had his
work exhibited and sold in UK and North American galleries

Documentation
Backlog - Paddle Steamer Collection
Andrew successfully tackled
the documentation backlog of the PSPS Collection by
cataloguing over 21,000 objects as well as preparing
a procedual manual and Collections Management Policy
Andrew has specialist knowledge as well as excellent
experience of cataloguing using most software systems

SEAX
Digitalisation Project in Essex
Andrew has vast experience
of digitalisation projects and associated photography
In 2003, Andrew played a key role in the SEAX digitalisation
project in Essex which placed the museum and photographic
collections of Essex museums and archives online for
the first time

in the Public Catalogue Foundation Project in Essex

Disaster
Planning at Croydon Clocktower
Andrew prepared and implemented
the Disaster Plan at Croydon Clocktower and for the
National Post Office Museum
Andrew also designed and trained staff at both establishments
in how to deal with a disaster situation

Andrew has had three books
published on maritime heritage as well as having numerous
articles published in magazines and specialist publications
in the UK
Andrew undertook all reasearch, design and marketing
for these publications
Five further titles are at present being researched
ready for later publication

Management at the National Post Office Museum
Andrew was responsible for
the day-to-day collections management of two parts
of this important national collection
In addition, Andrew was responsible for drafting a
documentation policy to integrate museum and Public
Records Office collections at the National Post Office

Andrew undertook the heritage
recording of the Paddle Steamer Waverley for the Heritage
Lottery Fund between 1998-2003 as part of her 'Heritage
Rebuild'
